Get the most of your soap: Make your soap last! Never let it sit in a pool of water but always keep it dry using a soap saver and you will enjoy many moments of luxury and indulgence. If you have very hard water, mesh sponges will help create even more luxurious lather.

Rarely do herbal, medicinal or specialty soaps cause a rash or allergy. If you have skin that is sensitive, it is easy to perform a simple skin test before using soap that includes dyes, scents or additives. Make lather with soap and water and rub it on a small area of skin on the inside of your upper arm. Leave lather on skin for a few minutes, and then rinse with water. If you are sensitive to an ingredient, your skin will redden or develop a slight rash within 24 hours. If you are pregnant, consult with your physician before using essential oils.
