HEADACHE & MIGRAINE MASSAGE OIL (RESPIRATORY) – 10 ml

$21.00

THIS CLASSIC SYNERGY BLEND IS USED AS TOPICAL APPLICATION
(MASSAGE OR COLD COMPRESS) TO RELIEVE HEADACHES,
OR THE HEADACHE PART OF A MIGRAINE.

Lavender and Peppermint are the classic Essential Oils to relieve migraines and headachesLavender is anti-inflammatory, soothing and calming while Peppermint Essential Oil helps to cool your head, thereby relieving pain.

WHAT CAUSES HEADACHES?

The brain itself does not have any nerve endings, but the skin that surrounds the brain is very vascular and has a lot of nerve endings. If too much blood builds up in the blood vessels located in this skin, we experience “pounding headaches”. The Migraine Massage Oil helps to cool the head down from the outside. (Use in combination with our “Migraine Inhaler” to relieve nausea associated with migraines, help your sinuses to drain and cool your head from the inside.)

HOW TO USE THE HEADACHE OIL

MASSAGE – topical application: place 2 – 3 drops of the oil blend in the palm of your hand, dip your finger into the oils and massage your temples (stay in your hairline and don’t get too close to your eyes as this will cause burning sensation), massage your forehead and back of your neck and shoulders. This will also help to loosen up tense neck and shoulder muscles that often leads to tension headaches. Then rub your hands together, cup them in front of your face and inhale deeply. A cold compress will help to ease pain and cool your head.

OR

COLD COMPRESS: This is a gentler way to use the Headache Massage Oil. Place a sheet of paper towel horizontally in front of you, fold it up twice to make a 8” x 2” compress, wet this compress with cold water, add 4 drops of the “Migraine Massage” oil blend, squeeze out the excess water. For headaches, place on your forehead or behind your neck. When the compress warms up, shake it in the air to cool down quickly and replace. For puffy eyes (related to sinus pressure) place the compress over your CLOSED eyes and leave on for about 20 seconds. Cold compresses with Peppermint/Lavender are also great for hot flashes and sweltering summer days. (place on the back of your neck)

IN ADDITION

To make a footbath: fill a small tub ankle-deep with cold water and add 6-8 drops of the “Migraine Massage” oil blend. Soak your feet for up to 10-15 minutes to revitalize tired legs. To relieve pressure and to draw the blood into your feet, footbaths are very effective also to reduce fevers.

Ingredients: Lavender, Peppermint Essential Oil, Vitamin E Oil, and Hazelnut Oil
