| MACERATED OILS are HERB INFUSED oils and contain the nutrients of the complete plant These oils can be used as a carrier, either by itself or in combination with another carrier. (Keep in mind that the carrier should always complement the Essential Oil blend. For example, if the E.O. blend is made for a skin condition, the carrier should greatly contribute to that same purpose in the blend.) HOW MACERATED OILS ARE MADE: Dried herbs are tightly packed into a jar, then filled with organic, cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Place in dark place at cool/moderate temperature for at least 6 months. Strain through a cheese cloth and let sediments settle before filling up your container. Store in a dark, cool area. |
