This is the story of an over-active, sweet puppy who got a little to excited playing and a guy who did not consider how sharp puppy teeth really are….

FOR FRESH WOUNDS OR CUTS: Apply a 1-2 drops of Scar Blend 1 – 3 times daily. I usually put it on right away to help get the healing process going asap. If you prefer, you can wait til the wound has closed before you apply. (It is really gentle and Philip did not feel a “singly” or burning sensation on his eyelid.)

FOR EXISTING SCARS: (3-6 months old): “Super Scar” treatment helps to break down existing scar tissue (fibrous tissue) while simultaneously helping to regenerate healthy skin cells (elastin – or smooth tissue). To accelerate the break down of old scar tissue stimulate circulation in the area with a loofah or soft brush and then massage a few drops of Scar Blend on the affected area 1 – 3 times daily.

FOR OLD SCARS: (1 year plus): Scar tissue contains less elastin cells and fewer blood vessels. This means there is much less circulation to the area and more fibrous tissue that makes the skin less elastic and soft than healthy skin tissue. A long-term treatment (3-6 months) and rigorous schedule of stimulating blood flow to the area, while massaging in Scar Blend, is necessary in order to help reduce the scar tissue. Consistency and determination will find their reward.

KELOID SCARS is an abnormal scar tissue development (raised growth of excessive fibrous scar tissue, extending beyond the area of the injury;) collagen over-production draws excess liquid, and holds on to it; which causes the car to become bulky, raised and discolored. This blend is specifically formulated to help the collagen to release the water so the tissue will become flat and soft. (Years ago I had a keloid scar after a small surgery. This is when I developed the Super Scar Blend and have successfully treated my Keloid Scar.)

Tip: this oil is very viscous (thick) and it takes time to get a drop our of the bottle.
You can either store the bottle upside down and have the drop waiting for you when you unscrew the top, or you can take out the orifice reducer (plug). But you have to be careful not to spill the blend.

Also, in most cases you will not need a whole drop of the blend, a fraction of the drop will do the trick.
